Today after school, me and Steven went to go buy my mom some Godiva chocolates for her birthday. I would’ve split a $150 dollar dress, but I’m not about to get my mom something she won’t even be using much. So a little sweet delight with a sincere birthday card was the definite way to go.
After, we hung out at home for a while, until we finally decided to go to Ikea to buy my new bed. Oh how excited I am! The total came out to be around $250 dollars for all the parts required to build it. I decided to go with a Malm, but at the sides you have to buy the slates and baseline. I can’t believe I’ve came to save enough money to buy my own things. It kinda makes me happy that I don’t have to worry about someone saying “You’re so spoiled, you get whatever you want and someone always buys it for you.” Finally, I have things that I don’t have to feel guilty for.
Anyway, we bought the bed, and oh my, there were so many other things that I wanted! We managed to fit it into Steven’s Toyota Corolla, and taking it inside my house was easier than I though. I plan on building it tomorrow morning, if I’m not lazy.
It’ll all be good and I believe it.
